Each October, families gather at H-E-B Foundation Camp in Leakey, Texas. Children and families experience the joy of nature and community together. At $250 per family, your donations help cover meals, lodging, activities, and support services - making this experience accessible to all.
Day Activity Programs
Our day activity programs offer enriching activities and a variety of community outings that are inclusive for everyone. With your donations, we are able to provide scholarships to those who cannot afford the cost to attend, ensuring that every individual can participate and enjoy these experiences.
Emergency Services
Life is unpredictable. Your donation provides emergency funds for essential items and services not typically covered by other funding sources. This support helps families and individuals overcome sudden challenges and maintain stability, ensuring they have the resources they need when it matters.

Founded in San Antonio, Star Bright Foundation creates meaningful opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities through three core programs. We provide grants for our signature Family Camp at H-E-B Foundation Camp, offer scholarships for community-based day programs, and deliver emergency assistance for essential needs like food, clothing, and utilities. Through this balanced approach, we've built a comprehensive support system that addresses both enrichment and practical needs—enhancing quality of life beyond what traditional services provide.
